Meet Your Host

Katy Johns

Katy discovered yoga in her early twenties while stationed in New York City with the Coast Guard, and after just a couple of hot yoga classes, she knew she had found something transformative. What began as a personal practice quickly became a lifelong passion rooted in movement, mindfulness, and wellness.

For more than 20 years, Katy has taught yoga across the country through military moves, motherhood, and life's many seasons. She has trained in Hot Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, and Pre/Post Natal Yoga. As a mom of four and longtime wellness entrepreneur, she believes yoga is one of the most powerful ways to reconnect with yourself and create balance in everyday life.

She brings an approachable, empowering style — with humor — that helps students feel both challenged and supported.

Katy was inspired to create this retreat experience at Casa Om because of its breathtaking setting, incredible meals, peaceful energy, and beautiful spaces designed for rest, reflection, and connection. This retreat is designed to leave you feeling energized, grounded, empowered, and deeply restored — with space to move, breathe, reconnect, and truly go within.
